Free trial extensions and expiration
TRULEO offers a free trial for individual officers. This article explains how long the trial lasts, how to extend it, what happens when it expires, and how to move to a paid agency subscription.
How long is the free trial?
When you verify your account on a free-tier organization, you receive an initial trial period of 60 days of unlimited access. The remaining days appear in the trial status indicator in the app header.


How do I extend my free trial?
Connect TRULEO to one of your agency's existing systems — such as BWC, RMS, or CAD — to unlock additional trial days. See What is a connector and how do I set one up?.
Use the trial status bar or in-app chat to coordinate connector setup with your agency's IT team.
What happens when my trial expires?
When your unlimited trial ends, you can still log in. However, some features become limited until your agency installs a connector or subscribes to a paid plan.
After expiration you may see:
- A Trial Expired indicator in the app header
- Restrictions on uploading files to Analyst cases
- Restrictions on generating reports and case summaries
- Limited access to certain Analyst briefing features
You retain access to your account and existing data — contact sales or support to restore full functionality through a connector or agency subscription.
Can I pay for an individual subscription?
TRULEO contracts with departments, not individual officers. There is no personal paid license outside of an agency contract.
