TruAssist

  • A smarter greeting. TruAssist now writes your welcome message based on how you use Truleo, and points you to features you haven't tried yet, with a ready-made follow-up button where it helps.
  • On the Analyst page, TruAssist opens with an intro built from the selected case's evaluation. Switching quickly between cases or pages no longer lets old responses pile up behind the new one.
  • Add TruAssist content to other work in one consistent way. Copying content from TruAssist into Analyst outputs, files, and Field Notes now works the same everywhere, and markdown and diagram exports from TruAssist are fixed.

Field Notes

  • Field Notes HTML downloads and the Word files inside the Field Notes zip now carry the TRULEO AI drafting notice.

Analyst

  • Case Analyst packages are named for you. Once the Case Evaluation report is generated, the case is renamed to describe the offense, and a person or place when the report names one. If you named the case yourself, it stays as you named it.
  • Large UFDR and zip uploads are no longer blocked by your remaining storage. The archive is split into individual documents after upload, so only the extracted files count toward your limit.
  • More files recognized in zip and Cellebrite uploads. Files with missing or unusual extensions are now identified by their content, so more of the archive is extracted and understood.
  • Analyst HTML downloads now carry the TRULEO AI drafting notice.

Documents

  • Downloading an audio or video file from the document preview once again includes its transcript.
  • PDF and Word exports now use the TRULEO AI drafting notice in the footer.

Admin / User Management

  • Bulk user upload accepts license types in any capitalization, such as "Patrol" or "INVESTIGATOR", and ignores extra spaces.
  • Weekly digest emails and in-app notifications now cover cases from on-premises connectors, such as Spillman, along with Evidence.com, and name the correct source.

Legal / Account

  • Free trial referrals are limited to one per user. When a user has used all of their extension options, a Contact sales dialog opens support chat.
  • Extended free trials now have usage limits for TruAssist messages, Field Notes, and Analyst reports. You get a heads-up at 80% usage, and a Contact sales dialog when the limit is reached.
