TruAssist

  • Citations now link straight to the exact moment in an audio or video transcript, and citations that point to an Analyst report open in a preview of that report.
  • Download any TruAssist answer as an Excel file — each table in the response gets its own sheet, with the text on a final sheet.
  • TruAssist can now turn an answer into a simple PowerPoint presentation — choose it from the download menu.
  • Word and Excel downloads now keep quoted text, and tables in Word downloads no longer look squeezed when opened in Pages or Google Drive.
  • Clearer saving from TruAssist and Analyst: "Save as Report" saves the response to a case as a Report, and "Add to Case" adds it to the case as an evidence file.
  • Thumbs-down feedback now allows up to 2,000 characters, so you can explain what went wrong in more detail.

Voice Recording

  • Video assignment notes and responses now allow up to 10,000 characters, so reviewers can leave fuller context and instructions.

Analyst Case reports now surface solvability up front:

  • Each case's solvability score and case classification are pulled out of the report and shown in the Analyst case list, so you can scan them without opening the report.
  • "Recommended Next Steps" now call out which solvability factor each step targets and how it's expected to move the score.
  • Jail call briefings now draw on a growing glossary of jail-call slang and code words, so briefings interpret coded language more accurately. TruAssist on the Analyst page can look up the glossary too.
  • The Analyst case list now has an info icon on each row showing Created, Updated, Solvability, and Case type, plus sorting. Bulk delete is replaced by deleting one item at a time.
  • Department-wide jail call briefing templates now show a badge when they replace the Truleo-managed template of the same name.
  • Analysts starting a new case get a short walkthrough of evidence.com case import. If your agency already has evidence.com connected, the upload dialog opens straight to the Case Import tab.
  • Weekly OSINT briefings are no longer created automatically for your organization.
  • Fixed evidence.com case indexing so the hourly sync now runs for every connected account, not just once at setup.
  • Fixed an issue where external case search results didn't update the case view after a search.

Documents

  • Downloading an audio or video document now gives you a zip with the original media file plus a plain-text transcript.
  • When you preview a document Truleo detects as non-English, you can translate it to English with one click. Once translated, audio and video downloads include both the original and English transcripts.
  • More reliable uploads — fixed an issue where two files with the same name uploaded at the same time could cause an upload to hang instead of failing cleanly.

Admin / User Management

  • The Permissions column in User Management now shows only each user's overrides, with a simple On/Off dropdown, instead of the full permission list.
  • Permissions turned off at the organization level now appear locked in the Edit User dialog, with a tooltip explaining why.
  • A new Permission Visualizer (in Organization Settings and User Management) shows how your plan and each user's license type combine to decide what a permission allows — pick a plan and license type to see the result.

Legal / Account

  • Investigators whose agency already has jail calls connected now extend their trial by referring another investigator; the testimonial option is hidden for them. Testimonials are limited to one per user.
  • Clearer trial text messages: the trial-ended text now explains you can request another 60 days, and referral invites mention the 60 free days.
