TRULEO Digital Agent
When your agency needs research, analysis, or monitoring completed without pulling officers away from the field, a TRULEO Digital Agent fills the gap.
Overview
When your agency needs research, analysis, or monitoring completed without pulling officers away from the field, a TRULEO Digital Agent fills the gap. TruAssist allows you to task an agent using a natural‑language request — for example, “run a crime analysis on case #1234” or “generate my weekly intelligence briefing” — and returns completed work in minutes. Agents can be deployed for:
• Database research and OSINT analysis
• Intelligence briefings and pattern analysis
• Policy review and strategic planning documents
• Automated data pipelines and real-time monitoring
TRULEO Digital Agents connect directly to your existing systems — CAD, RMS, body-worn camera, jail calls, OSINT, and more — and perform the work. Unlike chatbots that only answer questions, agents take action: searching records, generating reports, and monitoring systems around the clock.
On-Demand Agent
On-Demand Agents are tasked manually when investigators or command staff need rapid analysis. Activate them by typing a natural-language request in TruAssist. Results are returned in minutes rather than hours. Two agents are available:
1. Task the Crime Analyst Agent for investigative research. In TruAssist’s chat box, enter a request describing the case, suspect, or pattern you want analyzed (e.g., “research all cases linked to John Doe in the last 90 days”). The agent searches your connected RMS and OSINT systems, searches your LPR systems, performs digital footprint analysis, and returns a finished report with leads, timelines, network diagrams, and related cases — replacing half a day of manual database searching.
2. Task the Chief of Staff Agent for briefings and policy work. Enter a request describing the document you need (e.g., “generate this week’s incident briefing” or “review our use-of-force policy against current best practices”). The agent reviews incident trends from your RMS, identifies compliance gaps, and delivers a finished document ready for command review or presentation.
3. Review and download the completed report. When the agent finishes, TruAssist displays the full output in the chat and provides a Download option. Export the report to add it directly to a case file, briefing packet, or department record.
Always-On Agents
Always-On Agents run continuously in the background without any setup, tasking, or oversight from your team. They are fully managed by TRULEO and keep your data and intelligence current automatically.
1. Utility Agent — automated data pipeline. This agent automatically ingests body-worn camera footage, moves RMS documents between systems, processes jail call recordings, and handles cell phone extractions. No action is required from your team. The Utility Agent eliminates manual uploads and removes dependency on costly vendor API fees, giving your department full ownership of its data.
2. Real-Time Agent — shift intelligence and live monitoring. This agent monitors your CAD feed and incoming data streams around the clock. It maintains current BOLOs, wanted persons lists, and hotspot information, then pushes updated intelligence to officers before and during each shift. Field personnel receive current, actionable information without waiting for manual briefings between shifts.
Enabling Digital Agents
Digital Agents are an optional capability within TruAssist. If you do not see the Agents option in your interface, contact TRULEO support at support@truleo.co to have the feature enabled for your account.
Tips
• Be specific in your request: Include case numbers, names, dates, plate numbers, or other identifying details to help the agent focus its research and return more precise results.
• Allow time for complex On-Demand tasks: Thorough research requests may take several minutes. You can navigate away from the tab and return later; the agent will continue working and display results when you re-open the conversation.
• Verify critical findings: Although agents aggregate data from multiple sources and include citations, always cross-check significant leads against official records before taking investigative action.
• Download reports for case files: Each agent delivers a downloadable report. Use the Download option to export results and attach them directly to a case, briefing packet, or department record.
• Combine agents for maximum impact: Use the Crime Analyst Agent to surface leads, then hand off key findings to the Chief of Staff Agent to automatically draft a briefing or policy recommendation based on those results.
By deploying a Digital Agent, agencies transform time-intensive research and monitoring into automated, on-demand intelligence — freeing investigators and command staff to focus on decisions rather than data gathering, and closing cases faster with stronger leads.
