Once you upload the example case files - go ahead and generate a Case Summary Report and then ask TruAssist questions like the ones below:

Case Understanding (General Overview, Timelines, Reviews)

List all key individuals, their roles, and the most relevant facts from their statements or interviews.
Summarize every location mentioned and describe its connection to the incident.
Develop three working theories of what occurred, ranked by likelihood, with evidence supporting each.

Evidence

List all evidence items collected, where they were obtained, and their current status.
Identify which evidence has been analyzed and what still requires processing or lab results.
Suggest additional evidence that could be collected to strengthen the case.

Follow-Up Work

Recommend the next three investigative steps based on existing gaps.
List agencies or task forces that could assist or have relevant expertise.

Suspect and Victim Profiling

Create behavioral profiles for each suspect based on their actions and statements.
Outline any prior contact or history between the suspect and victim.
Generate a relational map showing how all parties are connected (socially, digitally, or geographically).

Pattern and Link Analysis

Compare this case to previous incidents—highlight shared MOs, suspects, or locations.
Detect any trends or clusters suggesting a serial pattern or organized activity.
Identify similarities with other open cases in the same jurisdiction or time frame.

Intelligence & Lead Expansion

Cross-reference suspect identifiers against other investigations or databases.
Identify new investigative leads from contextual clues in reports or statements.
Suggest potential financial, phone, or digital records worth subpoenaing.

Case Readiness & Reporting

Draft a concise case summary suitable for a prosecutor or command briefing.
List unresolved questions or gaps that need to be closed before filing.
Summarize the evidence and probable cause into a report-ready narrative.

Investigative Quality & Bias Review

Assess the investigation for signs of confirmation bias or missed alternative theories.
Evaluate whether interview coverage and evidence collection appear balanced and thorough.
Identify any policy or fairness concerns that could affect the case's integrity.

TruAssist has knowledge of the content of all case documents that have been fully processed.

If you are searching for specific information - you can reference a document based on its name as its listed under Case Files. For example, TruAssist may not answer to "Summarize the file I just uploaded" but will answer to "Summarize the file called Document_1"

You can search for files under Case Files, Select just those, and then generate a report over a limited set of files.
