      API Connection

      Generate API Credentials

      Axon

      1. Consult this document for instructions to create your Axon API Client Token
      2. Log into your evidence.com account
      3. Grant READ access to "evidence" and "users"
      4. Go to the bottom of the page and Save
      5. Copy and Paste the API credentials that are generated and store them in a secure place to paste them into Truleo
        1. Paste them in a format that is easy to copy and paste for later use
        2. NOTE: You will not be able to access this information again once it is completed

      Motorola Watchguard

      1. Contact your Motorola Watchguard representative for API access.

      Other Providers

      TRULEO supports other body-worn camera providers so long as they can make data accessible for TRULEO. This document describes how a provider may do this for your department.

      Connect the API to Truleo

      Either an organizational admin or your TRULEO success manager will take these steps to connect your API.

      1. Log into your Truleo system
      2. Navigate to the left toolbar and select "Account Settings"
      3. Select the tab at the top of the screen labeled "External Evidence Account Settings"
      4. Select the type of API credentials
      5. Use the API credentials and copy and past them into the corresponding fields in Truleo.
