Generate API Credentials

Axon

1. Log into your evidence.com account
2. Click on Admin > select API Settings
3. Select "Create a Client"
   1. Name: TRULEO
   2. IP Address - leave blank
4. Scroll to Cases and check the box for "READ" access
5. Scroll to Evidence and check the box for "Any.READ" access
6. Scroll to Users and check the box for "READ" access
7. Grant READ access to "evidence", "users"
8. Go to the bottom of the page and Save
   1. If a new one needs to be created, you must delete the old one, you cannot
      make any edits to the created client at this point
9. Copy and paste keys to your computer note pad, save, and send via email
   1. Client ID, Partner ID, Secret ID
   2. Screenshots do not work because it is very difficult to decipher certain
      letters and numbers in the keys

Other Providers

TRULEO supports other body-worn camera providers so long as they can make data accessible for TRULEO. A TRULEO Agent will be setup to access your BWC videos and transfer them into the platform.  The TRULEO Customer Success team can help with getting that connection established.

Connect the API to Truleo

Either an organizational admin or your TRULEO success manager will take these steps to connect your API.

1. Log into your Truleo system
2. Navigate to the left toolbar and select "Account Settings"
3. Select the tab at the top of the screen labeled "External Evidence Account Settings"
4. Select the type of API credentials
5. Use the API credentials and copy and past them into the corresponding fields in Truleo.
