Assign

Assign is a way to share a video with another TRULEO user within the platform.

When you want to share a video with another TRULEO user, you can click the "Assign" icon located below the video. This is a private message that only includes the sender and recipient of the assigned video. The sender can include multiple recipients, but the messages are still 1v1, not a group message, and the recipients are unaware of any other users receiving the assigned video.

The icon will open a new window where you can select other TRULEO users to receive the video. If your department has enabled notes, a textbox is available to provide notes to the person you assigned the video to.

The recipient will receive a notification icon on their "Assigned" tab the next time they log in. As the assigner, you will also see the video appear in your "Assigned" tab

Once the recipient clicks on the video, they will see information about the assignment (including any notes) on the right hand side of the screen. This information also shows when you as the assigner view the video from the "Assigned" tab. You can also assign a video to yourself.

Once the assignee has reviewed the video, they can clear it by clicking the "Mark as Reviewed" and also respond to any notes if available. Both the notes and the response are visible to the assigned and assignee whenever viewing the video in the "Assigned" tab.
