We are excited to bring you the following enhancements for Thursday evening July 1st, 2024.
Moments
Moments are short, 90-second or less sections of a video that recognize and celebrate professionalism in the course of a video. TRULEO now allows any officer or supervisor to create moments within videos they have access to.
A new "Create Moment" button has been added to the event timeline, allowing users to nominate specific moments within the video. Moments have a short title, and multiple moments can be created within a video.
If Stories is enabled, A PIO user at a department can then approve moments and assemble them into stories for wider sharing within the department.
Moments cannot be created on pending videos, below standard videos, or videos containing a use of force.
Stories
The Stories feature empowers PIO users to create and publish stories within the app. Stories are a short collection of one or more moments centered around a theme. Stories can be used for internal purposes or downloaded and shared externally.
In order to build Stories, the Stories feature must be enabled for your organization AND the PIO permission must be explicitly enabled for a user (including admins).
The Stories editor enables a PIO to add an intro & outro slide and one or more moments to each story. The feature is designed to streamline the storytelling process and provide a structured way to compile and present video content.
Published stories are available for all department users in the “Stories” tab. Stories are automatically captioned with the transcript from their respective moments.
Audio & Video Redaction for Stories
The Redaction Editor is a powerful addition to the Stories feature, allowing PIO users to redact sensitive information from video content before including it in stories. This ensures compliance with privacy regulations and protects sensitive data while creating compelling narratives. The PIO can specify redactions for each moment, ensuring precise control over what is concealed.
TRULEO’s Auto-Redaction automatically creates visual redactions for faces and audio redactions for spoken PII that can be removed or edited if required.
"Videos with Proficiency" Count on Achievements Page
Users can now see the "Videos with Proficiency" count on the Achievements page, providing users with a new metric to track their progress and engagement with video content.
Publish Saved Filters to a Specific Group
Users can now push a saved filter to a specific group, in addition to the existing option to share organization-wide. A new option to select a group while saving a filter has been added, allowing for more granular control over filter sharing.
Updated Weekly Professional Email
The weekly professional email has been updated to provide a list of officers with the most high professional and the most high composure interactions.
