We are excited to bring you the following enhancements for Monday evening July 29th, 2024.
Report Narrative
TRULEO can now automatically generate Report Narratives from transcripts! Users can select the report type, specify the severity of the charge, and indicate if it involves an arrest. These fields are auto-populated by TRULEO if possible.
Once generated, each report also features suggestions that a user must review before . Users can review the report, make necessary edits, and have the option to copy it for further use.
The Report Narrative Feature comes with detailed configuration to allow agencies to onramp, including organization controls for whether reports can be generated for arrests, misdemeanors, and/or felonies, and a user-specific permission to have access to the feature at all.
Enhanced Summaries with Labels
Summaries now incorporate Truleo labels to categorize and reference significant events and actions within the transcript. Label references within the summaries are now linked to the specific points in the event timeline. This feature allows users to quickly navigate to the exact moment in the timeline where an event occurred, enhancing review efficiency and accuracy.
Field Notes
Field Notes are created by a user using their cell phone. Field Notes captured during calls can now be used to generate a summary or report narrative depending on the user's desire. Users have the ability to download the associated audio files for their records (witness & interview statements). Field notes will be retained for 60 days.
To setup a user account in Field Notes
- Select Field Notes from the header
- Select edit
- Enter cell phone and pin number
To use Field Notes
- call the number provided (217) - 9 - TRULEO / (217) - 987 - 8536 and enter your pin number
- Speak your Field Notes, ignore any speaking mistakes, and hang up when done
- Log into TRULEO and select Field Notes and the call from the Call List

Bookmark Titles
Users can now personalize their Bookmarks by adding titles.
When reviewing a call and the user wants to Bookmark one, or multiple points in the call,
- select the Bookmark icon
- Enter a Title for your Bookmark and Save
Now the Bookmark and Call are saved to the users My Bookmark tab and the Bookmark is seen in the call timeline
Smoother Navigation Between Moments and Transcripts
Now, when editing a transcript for a moment, the segment outline will be preserved. This allows users to maintain context and structure while making edits.
Moments Usage Metrics in Achievements
The creation of moments now contributes to the users' usage metrics, providing insights into their activity and engagement levels.
Granular PIO Permissions
Introducing ‘PIO Moment Approval Permission’, a specific permission for PIOs focusing on moment approval. This permission has the capability to create and approve moments for stories but only published stories can be viewed.
The current PIO permission is now labeled as ‘PIO Stories + Moments’ - this allows stories creation and editing.
