A checklist of steps for onboarding TRULEO
TRULEO is a software-as-a-service (Saas) web application deployed in AWS GovCloud. Users at your department will access TRULEO through a web browser. The deployment is lightweight and requires only a few steps on the IT side to get setup:
1. API KEY: TRULEO accesses your body-camera data through a secure API connection to your evidence management system. See here for more details.
2. SSO: If your department will be using single-sign on, see here for details on connecting your identity provider to TRULEO.
3. FIREWALL:
- Whitelist https://app.truleo.net (the web access point that users at your department will use) and ensure that no firewall rules will prevent or slow down video streaming. Typically, any sort of decryption or packet sniffing should be disabled for this endpoint as to not impede the user experience.
- If your firewall blocks STUN / TURN traffic, you'll need to allow traffic from Twilio in order to utilize TRULEO's Field Notes feature..
- Ensure traffic is allowed to / from these CIDR blocks on ports 10000 - 60000 UDP, 443 (TLS) and 3478 (UDP)

4. EMAIL WHITELIST: whitelist truleo.net and truleo.co as email domains to ensure emails from the application are delivered to users (e.g. user invitations, praise sent, weekly summaries, etc.)
